(January 23, 2009: Wesley Chapel, FL 33544) The Pasco Pirates basketball team (Dade City, FL), was routed 80-55 in Friday's league battle with the host Wiregrass Ranch Bulls (Wesley Chapel, FL)

The Bulls now sport a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Nature Coast Tech for a 4A District 8 battle on Tuesday, January 27. Wiregrass Ranch will meet a Sharks team coming off a 31-28 league loss to Sunlake (Land O'Lakes, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 14-8.

The Pirates (2-16) will now prepare for their battle against Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Mitchell was routed by Sickles (Tampa, FL), 69-33, in a league battle.
