Texas High School Basketball - San Marcos trounces Seguin
(January 20, 2012: San Marcos, TX 78666) The San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), 59-36 in Friday's league test.
The Rattlers (10-18) will now prepare for their test against Judson (Converse, TX). The Rockets go into the 5A Region IV District 25 test with a 21-6 record. In their last test, Judson was trounced by Steele (Cibolo, TX), 55-48, in a league test.
The Matadors now own a 2-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Braunfels for a 5A Region IV District 25 test on Tuesday, January 24. Seguin will clash with a Unicorns squad coming off a 56-34 league loss to Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Unicorns record now stands at 8-16.
