California High School Basketball - El Toro succumbs to Capistrano Valley

(January 6, 2012: Mission Viejo, CA 92692) The Capistrano Valley Cougars knocked off the visiting El Toro Chargers basketball squad by a margin of 68-50 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Aliso Niguel topped San Clemente (San Clemente, CA), 84-57, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dana Hills for a South Coast test on Wednesday, January 11. El Toro will clash with a Dolphins squad coming off a 62-44 league win over Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Dolphins record now stands at 9-8.
