(January 13, 2012: Sandy, UT 84070) In Friday's league outing, the Jordan Beetdiggers (Sandy, UT) basketball squad nipped the visiting Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT), by a margin of 65-63.

The Beetdiggers (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Alta (Sandy, UT). The Hawks go into the 5A Region 3 outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Alta got by Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT), 48-41, in a league outing.

The Bengals now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cottonwood for a 5A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 17. Brighton will play a Colts squad coming off a 66-36 league loss to West Jordan (West Jordan, UT). The Colts record now stands at 4-9.
