North Carolina High School Basketball - Jack Britt tipped by Hoke County

(January 4, 2012: Fayetteville, NC 28306) The Hoke County Bucks basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Jack Britt Buccaneers to 44 in the Bucks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bucks now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richmond for a 4A Southeastern contest on Friday, January 6. Hoke County will confront a Raiders team coming off a 52-46 non-league win over Hillside (Durham, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 4-0.

The Buccaneers (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts enter the 4A Mid-South contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Cape Fear was nudged by Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 55-41, in a league contest.
