Texas High School Basketball - Taft overwhelmed by Jay

(December 30, 2011: San Antonio, TX 78227) The Jay Mustangs basketball squad scored 68 points and limited the visiting Taft Raiders to 39 in the Mustangs league win on Friday.

With the win, Jay upgrades its record to 13-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Marshall (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Rams in a 5A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-13.

Next up, the Raiders encounter the Warren Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-12 record after their 52-23 league loss to O'Connor (Helotes, TX).
