Texas High School Basketball - Liberty Christian can't hold off Bowie
(November 11, 2011: Arlington, TX 76018) The Bowie Volunteers basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Liberty Christian Warriors to 46 in the Volunteers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Volunteers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carroll for a non-league contest on Friday, November 11. Bowie will meet a Dragons team coming off a 60-38 non-league win over Rowlett (Rowlett, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Liberty Christian moves to 2-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to St. Pius X (Houston, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, November 11. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 2-2. St. Pius X won 48-41 in their recent non-league match against Oklahoma City Storm HomeSchool (Oklahoma City, OK)
