California High School Basketball - Kern Valley prevails Bishop
(February 3, 2012: Lake Isabella, CA 93240) Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bishop Broncos (Bishop, CA), 48-40 in a league bout.
With the win, Kern Valley upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Broncs travel to Desert (Edwards AFB, CA) to encounter the Scorpions in a High Desert bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Desert won 59-27 in their recent league bout against California City (California City, CA)
Next up, the Broncos encounter the Rosamond Roadrunners (Rosamond, CA) in a High Desert bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Bishop will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 65-56 league win over Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA).
