Arkansas High School Basketball - Gentry crushes Gravette

(February 9, 2010: Gravette, AR 72736) Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gravette Lions (Gravette, AR), 64-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Gentry upgrades its record to 10-14 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Huntsville (Huntsville, AR) to encounter the Eagles in a 4A Region 1 bout on Wednesday, February 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 20-4. Huntsville won 67-41 in their recent league bout against Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR)

Next up, the Lions encounter the Shiloh Christian Saints (Springdale, AR) in a 4A Region 1 bout, on Friday, February 12. Gravette will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 67-41 league loss to Huntsville (Huntsville, AR).
