Texas High School Basketball - Argyle falls to Melissa
(November 22, 2011: Argyle, TX 76226) The Melissa Cardinals basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Argyle Eagles to 27 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cayuga for a non-league contest on Monday, November 28. Melissa will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 47-37 non-league win over Overton (Overton, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Celina (Celina, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Celina toppled Prosper (Prosper, TX), 59-25, in a non-league bout.
