Arizona High School Basketball - North Canyon falls to Centennial

(January 26, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85024) The Centennial Coyotes basketball team scored 65 points and held the host North Canyon Rattlers to 55 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Coyotes now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Independence for a I Section I contest on Friday, January 27. Centennial will confront a Patriots team coming off a 43-22 non-league loss to Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 6-12.

The Rattlers (1-18) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds enter the I Section III contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Chaparral was defeated by Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ), 35-29, in a league contest.
