(February 22, 2008: Lake Crystal, MN 56055) The Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights (Lake Crystal, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Nicollet Raiders (Nicollet, MN), 86-59 in Friday's league test.
The Knights (16-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, St. Mary's walloped Cedar Mountain/Comfrey (Morgan, MN), 78-71, in a league test.
The Raiders now own a 7-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Le Center for a Valley test on Monday, February 25. Nicollet will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Medford/El Shaddai (Medford, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-18.
