(November 29, 2011: Missouri City, TX 77459) The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Alief Hastings Bears to 22 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Antonian Prep for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Fort Bend Hightower will meet a Apaches team coming off a 29-18 non-league loss to Brennan (San Antonio, TX). The Apaches record now stands at 3-8.

The Bears (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Katy Taylor (Katy, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Katy Taylor trounced Atascocita (Humble, TX), 50-39, in a non-league contest.
