Washington High School Basketball - Sammamish holds off Mount Si

(January 6, 2012: Bellevue, WA 98005) Sammamish Totems (Bellevue, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mount Si Wildcats (Snoqualmie, WA), 58-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sammamish upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Totems travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, WA) to play the Wolverines in a 2A/3A KingCo bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Bellevue lost 49-45 in their recent league bout against Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Liberty Patriots (Renton, WA) in a 2A/3A KingCo bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Mount Si will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 68-57 league win over Interlake (Bellevue, WA).
