Oregon High School Basketball - McNary overwhelms McKay

(January 20, 2012: Salem, OR 97305) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) and the host McKay Scots (Salem, OR), saw McNary's basketball squad trounce McKay by a count of 57-32.

With the victory, McNary upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Celtics host South Salem (Salem, OR) to play the Saxons in a 6A Central Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Saxons come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. South Salem lost 62-43 in their recent league challenge against West Salem (Salem, OR)

Next up, the Scots play the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) in a 6A Central Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. McKay will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Olympians come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 53-34 league win over North Salem (Salem, OR).
