Texas High School Basketball - Thorndale fells Salado
(November 15, 2011: Salado, TX 76571) Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Salado Eagles (Salado, TX), 37-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Thorndale upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Eagles play the Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Salado will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cadets come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 36-34 non-league loss to Clifton (Clifton, TX).
