California High School Basketball - Los Osos holds off Rancho Cucamonga

(January 20, 2012: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91701) Los Osos Grizzlies (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Rancho Cucamonga Cougars (Rancho Cucamonga, CA), 83-80 in a league bout.

With the win, Los Osos upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Grizzlies host Glendora (Glendora, CA) to play the Tartans in a Baseline bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Tartans go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Glendora lost 61-55 in their recent league bout against Upland (Upland, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Etiwanda Eagles (Etiwanda, CA) in a Baseline bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Rancho Cucamonga will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 19-1 record after their 68-29 league win over Alta Loma (Alta Loma, CA).
