(November 22, 2011: Barksdale, TX 78828) Nueces Canyon Panthers (Barksdale, TX) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad trounce the visiting Brackett Tigers (Brackettville, TX), 62-25 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Nueces Canyon improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Comfort (Comfort, TX) to play the Bobcats/Deer in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 29. The Bobcats/Deer come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Comfort lost 35-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Medina (Medina, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Utopia Buffaloes (Utopia, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Brackett will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 33-18 non-league loss to D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX).
