An untimely play in the 2nd turned into a 4 point swing for the Lions, which ignited their comeback to 3 at the half. .

Third Quarter Summary:

In the 2nd half, the Lions roared out to 12 points up, looking to put an end to the Crusaders' win streak and take over in the district.

Fourth Quarter Summary:

In the 4th, with 1:30 left in the game and Taylor up by 8, Jesuit never wavered and Coach Jones challenged his team to go back to their trade defense and they responded to his challenge with 2 consecutive steals and finishes as Taylor lost the upper hand. In what was his biggest shot of the night, Wes Williams hit a fade away 3 to bring the the game within 2. On Taylor's next possession, Joey Brooks would steal and convert to even the game and erupt the gym. On their final possesion with 10 seconds left, the Crusaders buckled down defensively one more time for their biggest stop as Tim Frazier's 1/2 court steal turned into a break away layup to put the Crusaders up once and for all as time expired and the crowd went wild.
