Mississippi High School Basketball - Marshall Academy falls to DeSoto Central

(November 21, 2011: Holly Springs, MS 38635) The DeSoto Central Jaguars basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Marshall Academy Patriots to 52 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Jaguars now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory Flat for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. DeSoto Central will meet a Rebels team coming off a 89-84 non-league loss to Williams Sullivan (Durant, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 4-2.

The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southaven (Southaven, MS). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Southaven ran past Alcorn Central (Glen, MS), 71-66, in a non-league contest.
