Tennessee High School Football - Wooddale drops to Ridgeway
(September 30, 2011: Memphis, TN 38119) In Friday's league game, the Ridgeway Roadrunners (Memphis, TN) football team knocked off the visiting Wooddale Cardinals (Memphis, TN), by a final score of 55-25.
The Roadrunners (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Houston (Germantown, TN). The Mustangs come into the AAA District 15 game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Houston toppled Overton (Memphis, TN), 20-14, in a league game.
The Cardinals now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kirby for a AAA District 15 game on Friday, October 7. Wooddale will battle a Cougars team coming off a 42-7 league loss to Southwind (Memphis, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 0-6.
