(January 15, 2009: Ocala, FL 34480) The Forest Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Vanguard Knights to 51 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Weir for a 5A District 4 contest on Thursday, January 22.

Next up, the Knights play the Columbia Tigers (Lake City, FL) in a 5A District 4 bout, on Saturday, January 17. Vanguard will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 60-39 league win over Lake Weir (Ocala, FL).
