Florida High School Basketball - Nature Coast Tech holds off Central

(December 15, 2008: Brooksville, FL 34613) Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), 53-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nature Coast Tech upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Sharks travel to Sunlake (Land O'Lakes, FL) to play the Seahawks in a 4A District 8 bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 0-10.

Next up, the Bears play the Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 5. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 45-29 league win over Sunlake (Land O'Lakes, FL).
