Maryland High School Football - Bladensburg smashes Carver Vo-Tech
(September 3, 2011: Bladensburg, MD 20710) The Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) football routed the visiting Carver Vo-Tech Bears (Baltimore, MD), 33-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Laurel (Laurel, MD). The Spartans come into the Prince George's County 4A challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Laurel trounced High Point (Beltsville, MD), 49-0, in a league challenge.
The Bears now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Poly for a Baltimore City Division I challenge on Friday, September 9. Carver Vo-Tech will meet a Engineers team coming off a 28-0 non-league win over DuVal (Lanham, MD). The Engineers record now stands at 1-0.
