California High School Basketball - Tranquillity ripped by Riverdale

(January 13, 2012: Tranquillity, CA 93668) The Riverdale Cowboys basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Tranquillity Tigers to 18 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cowboys now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fresno Christian for a West Sequoia contest on Tuesday, January 17. Riverdale will meet a Eagles team coming off a 64-22 non-league loss to Sierra (Tollhouse, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.

The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mendota (Mendota, CA). The Aztecs enter the West Sierra contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Mendota was routed by Kerman (Kerman, CA), 50-48, in a non-league contest.
