Statesboro Blue Devils football squad scored 40 points and restricted the visiting
Josey Eagles to 8 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against
Groves (Garden City, GA). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge,
Groves was ripped by
Houston County (Warner Robins, GA),
41-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host
Hephzibah for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5.
Josey will meet a Rebels team coming off a
38-0 non-league win over
Butler (Augusta, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-0.
