(February 9, 2010: Brooklyn, NY 11207) In Tuesday's league outing, the Jefferson Orange Wave (Brooklyn, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Roosevelt Cougars (Brooklyn, NY), by a count of 73-49.
The Orange Wave (19-12) will now prepare for their outing against Dr. Thomas (Rochester, NY). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Dr. Thomas was crushed by Monroe (Rochester, NY), 53-42, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they host Prospect Heights for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 25. Roosevelt will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 64-61 non-league win over Childs (Bronx, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-8.
