Caldwell Parish Spartans (Columbia, LA) basketball crushed the visiting
Jena Giants (Jena, LA),
67-39 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (22-4) will now prepare for their test against
Winnfield (Winnfield, LA). The Tigers go into the
3A District 2 test with a 20-4 record. In their last test,
Winnfield walloped
North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA),
68-54, in a league test.
The Giants now own a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to
North DeSoto for a
3A District 2 test on Friday, January 25.
Jena will clash with a Griffins squad coming off a
68-54 league loss to
Winnfield (Winnfield, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 10-11.
