(October 1, 2011: New Ulm, MN 56073) The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN) and the visiting United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN), saw Minnesota Valley Lutheran's volleyball squad beat United South Central by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Minnesota Valley Lutheran upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Chargers travel to Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Blue Earth lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN)
