Alaska High School Basketball - West routs Chugiak
(February 22, 2008: Anchorage, AK 99517) In Friday's league outing, the West Eagles (Anchorage, AK) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chugiak Mustangs (Eagle River, AK), by a count of 91-38.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Lynx go into the Cook Inlet outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Dimond smashed East (Anchorage, AK), 77-40, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they host Service for a Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, February 26. Chugiak will play a Cougars squad coming off a 62-59 league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Cougars record now stands at 14-5.
