Texas High School Basketball - Carroll prevails Guyer

(February 7, 2012: Southlake, TX 76092) Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX), 55-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Carroll upgrades its record to 16-15 on the season. The Dragons host Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region I District 7 bout on Friday, February 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 18-10. Fossil Ridge lost 55-39 in their recent league bout against Keller (Keller, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Northwest Texans (Justin, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 bout, on Friday, February 10. Guyer will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Texans go into the bout with a 20-11 record after their 73-38 league win over Saginaw (Saginaw, TX).
