(January 31, 2012: Castroville, TX 78009) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) and the host Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX), saw Boerne-Champion's basketball squad hold off Medina Valley by a score of 61-54.

With the victory, Boerne-Champion improves its record to 25-6 on the campaign. The Chargers host Harlandale (San Antonio, TX) to play the Indians in a 4A Region IV District 28 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 19-8. Harlandale won 55-37 in their recent league challenge against Medina Valley (Castroville, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 28 test, on Friday, February 3. Medina Valley will attempt to advance on its 20-12 season record.
