New Jersey High School Basketball - Roselle Park ripped by New Providence
(January 27, 2012: New Providence, NJ 07924) The New Providence Pioneers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Roselle Park Panthers to 28 in the Pioneers league triumph on Friday.
The Pioneers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abraham Clark for a Mountain Valley - Valley contest on Tuesday, January 31. New Providence will meet a Rams team coming off a 43-33 league win over Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 9-2.
The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson (Clark, NJ). The Crusaders enter the Mountain Valley - Valley contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Johnson trounced Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ), 65-51, in a league contest.
