Arizona High School Basketball - Chaparral nudges Desert Mountain

(December 2, 2011: Scottsdale, AZ 85253) In Friday's league outing, the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball squad edged the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), by a margin of 64-57.

The Firebirds (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against North (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record.

The Wolves now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain View for a I Section III match on Tuesday, December 6. Desert Mountain will confront a Toros team coming off a 40-36 league win over Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Toros record now stands at 2-1.
