Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Clearfield holds off Bald Eagle Area

(January 20, 2012: Clearfield, PA 16830) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) and the visiting Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA), saw Clearfield's basketball squad hold off Bald Eagle Area by a count of 61-55.

With the victory, Clearfield upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Juniata (Mifflintown, PA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.

Next up, the Bald Eagles play the Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA) in a Mountain - Nittany test, on Tuesday, January 24. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 3-11 record after their 48-22 non-league loss to Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA).
