Arizona High School Basketball - Catalina Foothills prevails Poston Butte

(December 29, 2011: San Tan Valley, AZ 85143) Catalina Foothills Falcons (Tucson, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ), 39-26 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Catalina Foothills improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ) to play the Lions in a II Section I challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Broncos play the Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Poston Butte will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record.
