Colorado High School Basketball - Northglenn falls to Monarch

(February 10, 2009: Louisville, CO 80027) The Monarch Coyotes basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Northglenn Norsemen to 45 in the Coyotes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Coyotes now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brighton for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 11. Monarch will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 80-62 league loss to Aurora Central (Aurora, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-13.

The Norsemen (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Boulder (Boulder, CO). The Panthers come into the 5A Front Range bout with a 4-16 record. In their last bout, Boulder was dropped by Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO), 57-49, in a league bout.
