Nevada High School Volleyball - Tonopah tips Beatty

(September 2, 2011: Tonopah, NV 89049) The Tonopah Muckers (Tonopah, NV) volleyball tipped the visiting Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV), 2-1 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Tonopah upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Muckers host Boulder City (Boulder City, NV) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 3. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 6-6. Boulder City won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV)

The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Adelson (Las Vegas, NV). The enter the Southern 1A test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Adelson was nudged by Needles (Needles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
