California High School Volleyball - St. Francis over Ponderosa

(October 13, 2011: Shingle Springs, CA 95682) St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Troubadours clash with the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) in a Delta River match, on Thursday, October 20. St. Francis will attempt to advance on its 23-5 season record.

With the loss, Ponderosa drops to 19-8 on the campaign. The Bruins host Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a Delta River match on Tuesday, October 18. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 4-14. Pleasant Grove lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Sheldon (Sacramento, CA)
