South Carolina High School Basketball - Fox Creek holds off Hunter-Kinard-Tyler
(January 20, 2012: North Augusta, SC 29860) Fox Creek Predators (North Augusta, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans (Neeses, SC), 41-36 in a league bout.
With the win, Fox Creek upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Predators host Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC) to play the War Eagles in a A Region IV bout on Tuesday, January 24. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Wagener-Salley lost 58-24 in their recent league bout against Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC)
Next up, the Trojans play the Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC) in a A Region IV game, on Tuesday, January 24. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 50-38 league win over Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC).
