(February 2, 2012: Mesa, AZ 85201) Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) and the host Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ), saw Mountain View's basketball squad knock off Westwood by a score of 53-42.

With the victory, Mountain View improves its record to 19-6 on the campaign. The Toros travel to Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ) to battle the Mountain Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a record of 20-7. Red Mountain won 66-60 in their recent league contest against Highland (Gilbert, AZ)

The Warriors (13-14) will now prepare for their contest against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Fighting Lobos come into the non-league contest with a 1-19 record. In their last contest, La Joya Community dropped by Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ), 66-33, in a league contest.
