Mississippi High School Basketball - Clinton holds off Yazoo City

(December 12, 2011: Yazoo City, MS 39194) Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Yazoo City Indians (Yazoo City, MS), 43-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Clinton upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Arrows travel to Lanier (Jackson, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 8-2.

Next up, the Indians play the Humphreys County Cowboys (Belzoni, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Yazoo City will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
