(March 19, 2009: St. Petersburg, FL 33713) Alonso Ravens (Tampa, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host St. Petersburg Green Devils (St. Petersburg, FL), 7-1 in a league test.

With the win, Alonso upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Ravens travel to Gaither (Tampa, FL) to battle the Cowboys in a 6A District 7 test on Friday, March 20. The Cowboys come into the test with a record of 7-3. Gaither lost 13-2 in their recent league match against Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL)

The Green Devils (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Sickles (Tampa, FL). The Gryphons go into the 6A District 7 match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Sickles was overwhelmed by Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL), 10-9, in a league match.
