(January 17, 2012: Waco, TX 76711) The Stephenville Yellowjackets/Honeybees basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host University Trojans to 31 in the Yellowjackets/Honeybees league victory on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets/Honeybees now sport a 11-15 record. They play next when they host Killeen for a 4A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, January 20. Stephenville will meet a Kangaroos team coming off a 63-49 league win over Waco (Waco, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 12-8.
The Trojans (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Midway (Waco, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region I District 8 contest with a 10-15 record. In their last contest, Midway beat Lake View (San Angelo, TX), 75-71, in a league contest.
