(November 21, 2011: Houston, TX 77077) Cinco Ranch Cougars (Katy, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Westside Wolves (Houston, TX), 50-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cinco Ranch upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Dobie (Houston, TX) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Dobie lost 43-38 in their recent non-league bout against Brazoswood (Clute, TX)

Next up, the Wolves play the Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Westside will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 52-33 non-league loss to Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).
