(January 10, 2012: Sunnyvale, CA 94085) The Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons basketball team (Hillsborough, CA), was overwhelmed 68-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA)

The Knights now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Woodside Priory for a West Bay battle on Friday, January 13. King's Academy will battle a Panthers team coming off a 61-47 league loss to Harker (San Jose, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.

The Gryphons (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Harker (San Jose, CA). The Eagles come into the West Bay battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Harker triumphed over Woodside Priory (Portola Valley, CA), 61-47, in a league battle.
