Colorado High School Basketball - Grandview prevails Mullen

(January 27, 2012: Aurora, CO 80016) Grandview Wolves (Aurora, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), 58-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Grandview upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Wolves travel to Overland (Aurora, CO) to encounter the Trailblazers in a 5A/4A Centennial bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Overland won 56-50 in their recent league challenge against Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Eaglecrest Raptors (Centennial, CO) in a 5A/4A Centennial challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Mullen will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Raptors come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 50-35 league loss to Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO).
