(January 9, 2009: Lehigh Acres, FL 33971) The Fort Myers Green Wave basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Lehigh Lightning to 41 in the Green Wave league triumph on Friday.

The Green Wave now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baker for a 5A District 15 contest on Wednesday, January 21.

The Lightning (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Estero (Estero, FL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Estero nudged Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL), 28-26, in a league contest.
