Game Story

Arizona High School Football - Red Mountain sneaks past Desert Ridge

(September 30, 2011: Mesa, AZ 85207) The Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) football nudged the visiting Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ), 20-13 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions face the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) in a I Section III bout, on Thursday, October 6. Red Mountain will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Toros enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 35-10 league loss to Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ).

The Jaguars (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Basha (Chandler, AZ). The Bears enter the I Section II bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Basha held off Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ), 49-17, in a league bout.
