California High School Basketball - North Tahoe can't hold off Loyalton

(January 26, 2012: Loyalton, CA 96118) The Loyalton Grizzlies basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting North Tahoe Lakers to 51 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Thursday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Westwood for a Pioneer - Mountain contest on Tuesday, January 31. Loyalton will meet a Lumberjacks team coming off a 56-55 non-league win over Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 19-1.

The Lakers (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Highlanders come into the 3A/2A Mount Rose contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, Incline edged Sparks (Sparks, NV), 51-50, in a league contest.
